Invitational exhibition - "Art and the Environment" - Allegheny College, Meadville, Pennsylvania. The site-specific installation was built with the help of Allegheny art students. The piece was installed in August and the crown portion of the tree sculpture was planted with mums and vinca - crocus bulbs were planted in late fall and then bloomed in early spring taking the project through a growing cycle.

Three stump seats were placed at the root base of the sculpture. The three stumps contained text that represented the growth cycle of birth, life and death.
